About Us
In 2014, Coralie moved to Nepal and opened The Adventurists Sports and Medical Massage Clinic in Pokhara. This area was very popular for adventure tourism. Coralie had the opportunity to work with many trekkers, paragliding pilots, and cyclists. In April of 2015, Nepal suffered a devastating earthquake. Coralie then returned to the United States, to Healdsburg, and reopened her local practice, Massage For Athletes Sports & Medical Massage, in Santa Rosa.
Coralie began providing clients with exceptional therapeutic care over 20 years ago. For her initial training in comprehensive Massage Therapy, she attended and graduated from the nationally accredited National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California with a 4.0 in 1998. She has additional education in Applied Kinesiology, Sports Massage, Healing Touch, Equine Massage, Medical Massage, Thai Massage, Advanced Holistic Health Practitioner certification and more. Additional studies in college and university include Occupational Therapy, Health Education, Behavioral Science, Social Science, and International Business.
As a certified Health Educator and Licensed Massage Therapist, she has spent years working in the field of Sports, Medical, and Relaxation Massage. She is highly skilled and experienced with a specialized focus in specific injuries.
Each client Coralie works with is given individualized attention and goal oriented full-body massage work. Clients come to her for outcome-oriented massage knowing that they will feel completely relaxed, heard, safe and rejuvenated.
No stranger to injuries herself, Coralie connects to others with a genuine empathy and understanding of what each individual may be experiencing. Her own personal combination of falls, accidents, and injuries give her direct experiences she can relate to when working with her clients. The focus is forward thinking, acknowledging goals and/or setbacks, and moving towards the actualization of meeting individual needs.
