Oak Orchard is a family campground situated on forty-five acres next to the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge on the Clyde River. We are five miles north of Cayuga Lake, and five miles north of Seneca Falls.
This area has some of the best fishing in New York State. You can launch your own boat, rent one of our rowboats, or fish right out in front of your campsite or cottage. There is boat access via the Clyde and Seneca Rivers to Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. The local area has many natural and historic attractions for the whole family to enjoy. The close-by villages of Seneca Falls and Waterloo are especially rich in history.
Here at Oak Orchard you can surround yourself in nature’s playground. Hike one of the many nature trails in the area and catch a glimpse of a resident bald eagle, join in one of our planned activities, or just relax in the glow of your campfire. The choices are yours – the way camping is supposed to be.
All of our campsites include water and electric at very reasonable rates. Our cozy waterfront cottages have two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bath, and a screened-in porch. They are furnished with everything one could want except personal bedding and kitchen utensils. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. Have a great vacation!

I will never recommend this campground to anyone!  Was there last weekend and had to leave for a hospital emergency and this campground will not refund money for days we lost.  I think this a unacceptable policy!

My two friends, two sons, and I have been coming to Oak Orchard for the past ten years and have enjoyed each and every trip.  It's difficult to get together as much as we'd like so a decade ago (more or less) we decided to dedicate on week so we could all get together in the same place at the same time.  We chose Oak Orchard by chance and have never regretted it...that's why we keep returning.  What was primarily started as a fishing trip (we have ALWAYS had a good time fishing here) has morphed into other areas.  I took up photography five years ago and a big part of my anticipation comes from imaging the abundant birdlife in the area as the campground is adjacent to the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge.  The grounds there have always been well-maintained by the owners Richard and Gail who themselves are wonderful down-to-earth folks who will make you feel at home.  Maybe it's just because we're getting older (well, not my sons) we seem to spend more time in the campground than away from it.  After a good vacation there's always that enjoyable feeling of "coming home" and for all of us we've come here so many times that traveling down to Oak Orchard Campgrounds each September is a little bit like "coming home" for us.  If you're in the area looking for a nice place to stay you'd do well to stop and see Richard and Gail.  It worked out great for us and hopefully for you as well.

If you are looking for a friendly place to camp. Look no further. Oak Orchard Campgrounds is like no other. The people are friendly and if you need help someone is always ready to pitch in. So come on over and set a spell for coffee and some good old conversation. We will leave the lights on.

Oak Orchard is a beautiful family campground. A quiet relaxing place. My children are entertained the whole time. Riding bikes, swimming in the pool, fishing from our site, playing on the playground, kayaking... Relaxing at our campfire at night. Watching the Bald Eagles flying above us is absolutely amazing. The campground has organized activities all summer. Hayrides every weekend. The Hunt for Bigfoot Hayride is so much fun! My kids love it! Clean shower building and bathrooms. Friendly and helpful owners who want to make sure your having a nice vacation. Nice camp store that has a little bit of everything in it...snacks, candy, ice cream, drinks, camping supplies, rv supplies, fishing supplies, toys, souvenirs... Oak Orchard truely is a beautiful campground and very family oriented. We will be back again and again!
