Two words can describe this company best- reliable and efficient. I had do move due to work and my move was scheduled for 16th February. Shortly after I made my booking with One Way, I was told that I had to transfer to Florida a month earlier. I called One Way and discussed my opportunities and they did everything possible to reschedule and do a last-minute moving. They gave me a good deal considering the circumstances. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because upon delivery some of my items were damaged. There were scratches here and there, nothing broken per se but still I value my things and wanted them to arrive the way they packed them. I would assume it was because everything had to be rushed. Despite, I would use them again because they approached my issue professionally and personal. Thank you.

They were easy to work with apart from handling our boxes with care. We were moving from Frederick to Mercersburg so not a long distance but some of our boxes were still damaged. Nothing extreme but it's still a little upsetting since we were extra careful when packing the boxes. 

Communication was poor and the movers who came to load the boxes were slow. They seemed careful so we're assuming something must have happened upon moving them from one truck to the storage and then another truck. 

Our stuff arrived on the arranged date only in a different time which was annoying as I had some plans for the day and instead I was stuck at home waiting for the delivery. 

The drivers weren't the same ones that loaded our stuff but they were quite quick this time. Rude though... 

Prices were fair and storage was free so we're happy with that but please pay a bit more attention to how you treat peoples boxes as sometimes there are important items that we wouldn't want to have delivered broken.

I was recommended to One Way Van Lines by a friend of mine. I had a little chat with Zeke on the phone and he was nice and approachable. I asked if they do a proper full service including packing, disassembling etc. as my job engages most of my time and as a single woman I can’t manage to pack everything. So yeah he said they can do it all for me and gave me a to be honest quite fare quote. So one thing I can say for sure - money wise One Way give great offers. They gave me some discounts and it came up to a very affordable price. My move was a long distance one so basically from West Coast to East Coast, which is like nearly 3 000 miles. What put me off a little was that they said one moving date and then they didn’t arrive at the agreed date and time… so I contacted my coordinator and he said that there was misunderstanding and someone else has booked that date before me and there was basically a double booking. You have to understand that nobody would be happy with that, especially a busy person who can barely find some time for herself. I had to clear my whole day so they can come and pack, load, etc. and surprise…. Anyway after a few more calls the earliest they can do they said was on the next day so at least i gotta get moving at some point. Three guys came, which I thought was a bit too much especially after I’m only moving like a two bedroom flat but I think that was a good move as they sorted everything so quick. So I had my ups and downs with One Way but to be fair apart from the small inconvenience at the beginning, I’d most likely recommend these guys. My delivery was on time and everything else was fine, hence my 4 start review. Thanks.

I thought I’ll write just a short review but I don’t think I’ll be able to keep it short. I was reading some reviews of this company before I booked my interstate move and some of them were so bad that I changed my mind at least twice. Anyway, I’m glad I chose them and the reasons are endless. As I said I had second thoughts at the beginning so I was double checking everything. They gave me a fair quote at the beginning, which changed slightly overtime but I do understand that it’s just an estimate so you can’t really know for sure until someone comes and does a home walk through. The guy who came was approachable and answered all my questions and was very nice and helpful. He gave me a moving date which was basically the one I initially requested so I was happy I got the date I want as I know moving companies can be quite busy at times. On the moving date two guys came and did a super quick loading. To be honest I was expecting them to spend at least 3-4 hours but they didn’t. They managed to load everything within 2 hours!!!!!!! Honestly, everyone who has used a moving services before know that loading can take some time. So they loaded everything and the guys were honestly so nice- Mark and Dan. I was then told that the average delivery times are up to 21 working days so I wasn’t expecting my stuff earlier. Again I was proven wrong, they arrived within 2 weeks considering the long distance it’s quite impressive. Most of my stuff were as I packed them. Of course when you do 2000+ miles some of the items may be damaged or scratched it’s normal. I had just a few scratches on my table and bedside table but as I said anyone with previous experience in moving would know that it’s expected. So my overall experience was great and I’m so glad I used One Way. Highly recommended, will use again in future as I have to relocate quite often. Thank you guys, keep up the good work.

Using One Way was a so so experience. There were positive aspects of the move but there are still a few things that they need to pay more attention to. Getting a quote and getting in touch was easy and enjoyable. They gave me a good quote and the prices seemed reasonable. Upon the move itself I decided to do the packing myself because I wanted to save some money as I was doing a long distance move and everyone who has ever moved know that moving can be quite pricey. I had to move out on the 2/10 but my current home wasn’t ready so I had to store my stuff at their storage and live with a friend of mine. What I find great about this company is that they didn’t charge me for storage as apparently the first month is free in you use the storage in transit service so that was a big relief. My delivery date was set for 1/11 as this is when I moved in my new house. The delivery was supposed to come on the 1/11 but guess what, it didn’t. I had to sleep on an air mattress,which I borrowed. I contacted customer service and I was assured that the delivery will come on the following date. I was waiting all day and nothing. I contacted customer services again and they informed me that there was a problem with the truck so I have to wait another couple of days until they sort their problem. So a few days passed and I finally got my stuff on the 5/11. I had to sleep on the floor for 5 days. Good thing is that everything was undamaged apart from a few scratches on the table and a few other small bits but I know from previous moving experience that it is expected. It is fair to say that although there was some frustration with the delivery, I would still use them in future.

I had good experience and these guys were helpful with all my heavy stuff. They came to my home and gave me a quote and the price seemed reasonable. I am glad I used one way as the guys who came to pack and load everything were great at handling everything with care. Delivery time was also reasonable although I was told one date at the beginning and it slightly changed over time but anyways the guys on the phone were very kind and explained the reasons. So basically everything was taken care of and delivered to me undamaged. It was such a good experience for a first time move. If I have to move again in future I’ll call them again.

I had to move due to work relocation, so I got to do my research and I came across this company. After I read some of the reviews I was unsure if I want to go ahead and use their service. Anyway I did some thinking, talked to some of their staff on the phone so eventually I decided to trust them and to be honest I’m so glad I did. The guys who came to my home were so genuinely foreign. It took them quite a while to load everything but I wasn’t in a rush so that was fine. Anytime I had questions there was someone on the phone who gave me exact information and track of my items. Good people and service. Don’t hesitate and don’t get influenced by some of the reviews. Highly recommended.
