My husband and I just went for sandwich day at 8:40pm on a Tuesday night and the door was locked and the open sign was off with about 4 customers locked inside. The door sign said they at 10pm. All 4 young make employees made eye contact. While we were there, 4 other families walked up and we all knocked and tried talking and calling. We all turned and left. My husband and I ended walking to Cantina Mexican Restaurant.

I went it at 9pm and waited behind a lady and her kiddos as they placed an order of 4 footlongs. Then when it was my turn the young associate with a beard says he just received an online order and that I had t wait even though I was there before the online order. Either this location does not care about it's in store customers or maybe it's my shade of color. As a Latino working in town from business for the past 2 months, this has been my only bad experience here in Grand Rapids. And as a long time Subway customer (it was also my first job back in 1992) I would highly recommend you not go to this location and go to the one on Beltline instead. Or any other location for that matter.

Great place to eat. The employees were really friendly and we actually laughed pretty hard to some jokes that were told. They also suggested a new sub that I like now. Great experience definitely will continue to go back.

I went here on a weeknight approx. 8pm and was turned down for service because the young employee had to much work to do before the store closed and he didn't have any vegetables to make me a sandwich anyhow. Seriously.
