I specialize in shiatsu, a type of acupressure massage from Japan. Shiatsu is like reiki, acupuncture and massage rolled into one.
I treat clients with acute and chronic pain, digestive issues and chronic illness such as rheumatoid arthritis. Shiatsu is also great for conditions that have eluded standard methods of diagnosis and treatment. Shiatsu is also great for stress management and personal evolution, going beyond treatment of illness.
Shiatsu is a great in tandem with psychotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic and yoga. Shiatsu will have a synergistic effect with other modalities, opening doorways and extending results.
Unlike traditional massage, shiatsu does not require disrobing, oils or lotions. You wear soft comfy clothing for the duration of the treatment.
