About Us
Historic Bar & Grill with an amazing menu for the foodie & those who enjoy a excellent food experience. Dawson’s was opened in 1908 & was originally known as a Cigar Store where spirits flowed & a serious game of pinochle was waged.
An iconic piece of history in DIXON & major player in the agricultural community throughout the years, it was the Stockman’s headquarters. By all accounts a mans bar in which women where not allowed until the late 1970’s.
New ownership took place in November of 2017 after being closed for almost a year. The new owners salvaged as much of the historic ambiance while creating a trendy & comfortable atmosphere.
It is worth your time to give us a try, you will not be disappointed.
