Green Family Jewels LLC
My grandmother left behind a fierce legacy of self-empowerment and creativity.
It was in Earnestine Green’s honor that Green Family Jewels emerged and then grew through my community presence. Word of mouth gets the news around, especially when rhinestones are involved. I started making blankets, bedazzling apparel, and handcrafting Basketball Wives earrings and suddenly, folks started buying them. What started out as a hobby, soon grew into the discovery of my purpose, passion, and business headquartered in my mother’s living room.
Our family believes that the community is cared for through the ways in which we engage and express ourselves. A team-color can unite a stadium of strangers, the same way a viral TV show can unite a generation of viewers. Green Family Jewels appreciates the commonality that is shared through something as simple as a t-shirt.
Established in 2008, our family business has brought communities together through the expression of family, fashion, and fun. Green Family Jewels also paved the way for our two new brands - Brea’s Creations (founded by my 10-year-old daughter), and The Finer Shop.
