About Us
Initially a family-owned enterprise, TreeMart began its journey as a wholesale nursery and retail landscape services provider. In September 2021, the business changed hands, with Jim, Tina, and Nick Sears becoming its new proprietors. Although Nick is a first responder, he devotes his free time to the family business, following his father’s passion for the landscape and nursery trade. Jim, with two decades of experience in the landscape industry, acquired TreeMart after stepping down from his position as District Manager at Winn Dixie. His extensive knowledge of retail store design and customer service has been instrumental in the business’s growth. Today, the Sears family aims to transform TreeMart into one of the largest and most renowned wholesale and retail nurseries in the Tampa Bay area.
