We bring a calming environment with natural elements to each classroom. Our goal is to prepare your child for their elementary school years. We provide before and after school care for Lincoln Elementary.

We care for ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age!

My daughter had been at home with me until she was 3. She hated going to daycare. She would cry when she knew it was time to go. She LOVES backyard beginnings! On days she doesn't go, she asks if she can! The staff is so friendly and really seem to care not just about my daughter but about our family.  Miss Trish and Backyard Beginnings are the best!!

I love this place , its clean and friendly  .   My kids are always happy to go and have fun with the other kids  . Everyone there knows my name as well as the kids . It's a small place but I think that's one of the better qualities  .  The kids have a set schedule which is important in my opinion .   And if you have more than one child , they let the siblings see each other  .  I am very happy my kids are able to go to Backyard Beginnings .

Backyard Beginnings is a kid friendly day care with great workers and the children all have a great time overall I think that it is a great place for your children to go for daycare.

My daughter loves going here, it's amazing how much she's learned since starting.  The staff is wonderful and accommodates the occasional change in pick up or drop off.

Since I have joined this group of wonderful people I have felt welcomed. All of the children, staff and parents are like one big family. It’s a small center but a great place which allows us to spend more time one on one with the children in our care. The children in our care will get much learning and creativity throughout their day. Which means everyday they grow and learn more and more. The preschool teacher miss. Trisha is great with coming up with cool and fun activity’s to do in the classroom and also out of the classroom to explore and learn more. She always  has the children laughing and have big smiles all day. Mrs. carol is so great with the infants all of them love her lot and adore her. She also has them up and moving around the room laughing and enjoying their day. Miss Jackie is a loving and caring teacher she is always looking out for the children safety. Miss. Jackie makes sure that each child continues to learn and grow! Miss Erica she is the life of the place. Every child loves her she makes sure she  says good morning to everyone when she comes in. She welcomes the families to the center with big smiles. She tries her best to help staff and the families when help is needed. Everyone at the center is wonderful we help each other grow and became the best with each other. Together exploring the fun and nature feel to the learning center will allow your child to have a fun and calming day.

Backyard Beginnings is a wonderful day care center, with great staff and a perfect atmosphere.  My boys have been there for over 3 years and I would highly recommend this center as a perfect choice to take your child/children to.

This is truly a great place for children to learn, play and make new friends. The rooms are updated to meet with our ever changing world while still embracing the elements of nature. From story time on real wooden logs and stumps to calming yoga before quite time, Backyard Beginnings has a more relaxed outlook on how children learn and explore the world around them.

It's a great center, with a great staff. All newly remodeled! Come check it out.

I would highly recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a small childcare.  It is located right next to Lincoln Elementary  offering before and after school programs.  The center has a "backyard" feel with nature elements.  The staff is very helpful, personable  and they make you feel like you are apart of a big family.  The center is clean and organized also.
