Camp Happy Paws is a kennel free dog boarding and daycare facility located on five securely fenced acres of wooded trails, trees and grassy fields. The staff at Camp Happy Paws spend the day playing with our campers, giving them all lots of love and attention. Whether dogs want to come in the Dog House and relax, or play outside, Camp Happy Paws has something for campers of all ages and stages. At the end of the day, the campers are all tucked in safely in the house. Camp Happy Paws is happy to have been a family owned and operated kennel free dog boarding and daycare facility since 1996. Camp happy paws is the best! This is the second dog we’ve owned that we brought here and he loves it! After camp happy paws, our dog came back a changed dog. He was calmer and his socialization skills were better. The staff is great with both humans and dogs. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.

In May 2022 we needed a weeklong boarding for our dog. We were extremely fortunate to be referred to Camp Happy Paws. From the moment we walked in the door for our "meet and greet" to find out if our dog was a fit for the Camp, we felt we had been given one of the greatest gifts in our life. Becky was tremendously welcoming and direct about assessing our dog for boarding there. Thankfully our dog was found to be a fit with the staff, the doggies and the setting. From that first stay in May and the numerous day and boarding stays since, our dog and we have been treated with the utmost respect, excellent attention and care. Our dog always comes home relaxed and settled. Since May, every time we are driving to the Camp our dog starts barking with anticipation on 180th St as we get nearer the Camp. She can sniff and feel that she is getting closer to her home away from home. We are truly blessed to have found such a wonderful day and boarding place.

Camp Happy Paws has a pretty parking lot, and will greet you with a big hello. Everything past that is well-rehearsed lines to cover up and excuse their lack of care given to the dogs. I had a 6 month peek into their family run business, and am writing this review in concern for the well-being of future dogs. I was told a variety of things that were &quot;Scott's Way&quot; of caring for the dogs: -Slow eater? Offer their food to them, if not touched in 30 seconds, they can figure it out. (Why not spend time with them to build a relationship instead?) -Shy pup? Leave it to cower in the corner, there's no benefit to building their confidence. They should get used to being alone. (Why not build its confidence and take a minute to socialize with pack?) -Injury because the dogs are unattended? Find it later and clean the blood off all the dogs. (Why not be out with the dogs? Instead of watching a movie upstairs?) -Barking Inside? Be more aggressive- shout, scream, and stomp from the office loud enough and they will stop. (Why not take time to move a dog to a different room if needed?) I ask you to pay attention to the details: -Scott walking from his house to greet you, instead of from the dog house. Who is outside with all the dogs? -Scott passed out in the office, and leaving beers on the porch and counter at noon? What state is he in when he is outside with the dogs? Camp Happy Paws has been in business successfully for 18 years. I will not compromise any dog's health to be a part of &quot;Scott's Way&quot; of caring for the dogs; even to get an award, or any amount of money. No matter what they tell you, I know this to be true in my heart, and hope you take it into consideration before bringing your dog.

We have been sending our dogs to camp with Becky and Scott for 15 years and our pups always come home happy, well loved and ready for a nap. CHP staff is also incredibly accomadating and easy to work with.

My dogs didn’t like being in a kennel due to a bad experience. I needed a different solution for when I travel. This was perfect. Couldn’t be more happy!

This is the most incredible place for your dog. Our dog has been attending Camp Happy Paws three days a week for over a year. Also, we board her fairly frequently when we are out of town. To say our dog LOVES it here is an understatement. She knows when we are a few miles out from camp. She begins to run across the back seat from side to side looking out the window eagerly anticipating her arrival to camp. She bolts for the door of camp with no hug or kiss and is sad when I am there to pick her up at the end of the day. CHP is serene and impeccably kept. It resides among a beautiful backdrop of trees and a wooded area that truly feels remote like you are away at a camp. The owners and staff are extremely involved and attentive to all of the dogs and clearly have the love and passion for all of the dogs there. I have complete trust in their service and their camp. This place is definitely 5 stars + and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking day care for your beloved dog with peace of mind.
