Les Poppleton Yes, The Gold Exchange is awesome ! I get lots of tools there. Christmas and birthday presents as well. The jewelry shop next door is cool too. I have got many presents there that are one of a kind , hand made stuff. I try to stop by often just to see what is new. Dan and Lupe are awesome, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, we have made many deals. Jessie is a sweetheart, thanks for everything guys and I will see you soon.

I have been going to the Gold Exchange since I moved here 10 years ago.  Every time I am in there the employees are courteous and professional.  I have heard them tell me and other customers that if the is ANY problem with your purchase bring it back and they will make it right.  With out hesitation I recommend The Gold Exchange to everyone.

The Gold Exchange is an unlikely melding of a pawn shop one side and a fine jewelry establishment on the other.  Owner Jessie Woods has been able to pull this off by hiring and training quality employees, who often refer patrons through a wide doorway from one “store” to the other.  The combined business is regarded as a local success story, in no small part due to Jessie’s sense for new business opportunities and flexibility in taking advantage of them.  Recently, the only music store in town closed, so Jessie expanded the services of the pawn shop side of the business, expanding sales to local musicians and reducing the need for those people to have to drive out of town to meet their shopping needs.  Jessie herself is a community treasure.  She has conceived and spearheaded annual drives to feed the hungry and replenish food banks.  The Gold Exchange financially supports dozens of charitable projects and community events and festivals in Red Bluff.  As a director on the local Chamber of Commerce Board, she has created and worked on projects to promote “shopping locally” and inspire pride in place among local residents.  Red Bluff would not be the same without her!

All of my many experiences with The Gold Exchange have been 5 star.  This business is five businesses in one. Some peoples first response is Carrie and her gold and silver smithing skills and hand made  jewelry, others focus on the musical instruments and lessons available, others know it as a place to sell and purchase precious metals, while others see the new top of the line jewelry or the pawn shop portion of the store. The store is divided into two sections, the pawn, music, metals/coinage and estate jewelry, plus videos/games side.  The upscale new and hand made jewelry side also features stone for healing, tools for the metaphysical or spiritually minded minded individual and many high quality hand crafted items. As trustee to the family estate I was very pleased with the appraisals that the Gold Exchange provided for me. They offered and paid the highest value of many west coast dealers. There staff is highly educated and aware of current markets. The variety of services they provide are much needed in our community. In addition to all that the Gold Exchange has to offer to the customer they are the most community minded business in Red Bluff. A testament to this is the many community awards that have been received by the owner Jessie Woods. I continue to be very satisfied with all the varied business and community minded transactions that I have experienced with The Gold Exchange and all of the staff.
