My Architectural Firm has designed and observed the construction of over 86 Commercial Projects and 545 Single Family and Multi-Family Projects – over 1250 total units. I have a long track record in the South Bay Area, acting as architect of record on all types of projects, resulting in over 2 million sq. ft. of the construction area. This work includes development, design and construction of 15 of my own projects and providing Design + Build Services on selected projects for 8 of my clients. I am currently completing a Design + Build project in Hermosa Beach, as well as overseeing construction on 4 New single-family homes, a Unique 3 Unit Condominium on the Esplanade in Redondo Beach, a 30 Thousand SF Residential Design Center in Lomita, Ca on Pacific Coast Hwy as well as a 20 Unit Condominium plus 8000 SF Residential Structure as a Mixed-Use Development in Lomita, Ca. Personal experience and knowledge of the latest construction methods, materials and techniques are an integral part of my firm’s knowledge base, as we have provided construction observation for all of our over 600 projects.

I hired Jerry to design my first one bedroom garage conversion in Long Beach. Being that it was my first design project, I had a lot of questions and uncertainties. Jerry took care of everything. I have worked with Gerald Compton since 2002 or so. He is so creative in each house I have had the pleasure of selling or visiting. The most creative beautiful personal treasures made out of 1960 - 1970 plain spec builders and development homes have been architecturally designed and remodeled or completely re built from ground - up by Gerald. For instance, a development home was transformed with ceilings at varying heights in different rooms and different angles ,that were so artistic, a a swimming pool was built overlooking the ocean with an infinity pool that looked from the house as if the water was flowing into the ocean. Breakfast bars curved for a modern original style, enclosed the front yard with a current style gated front patio so it didn't look like any other development home on the block. Another home, the ceilings were lifted and shaped. The owners were very tall and it was a smaller home that grew into spacious comfortable personal design. Home was remodeled interior only down to the studs. Walls moved. Gorgeous. He is a genius.
