I was a first time homebuyer with little knowledge of the homebuying process, little time to research, and an approaching deadline to move. All I had was a place of interest.

I met Barbara when she was in the neighborhood visiting her mom. During the course of our conversation, she told me she was a realtor. She didn't know I was selling my home. By this time, I had already interviewed several realtors and had chosen one to represent me. After just a few weeks I realized I had made a mistake--he wanted my listing but I did not hear much from him afterward. I contacted Barbara and asked her to represent me. What a great move that was! She went through my home with me and gently suggested some items I may want to improve in order to be more competitive in the market. We signed an agreement and she never once let me down! When she couldn't take my calls, she called me back within an hour. She followed up with me when there were showings, and marketed my home well with the 360 degree movies that were available on MLS for all to see. The competition in my neighborhood was plentiful, but I feel through Barbara's marketing efforts, we sold first and very close to the price we were asking. Additionally, I want to say that Barbara has a very gentle manner about her that I find appealing. That being said, I have experienced her being an aggressive and a take-charge realtor when the need arises. What a nice combination of qualities to have in a realtor! I was so happy to finally meet an agent who was "really" there for me. I asked alot of questions and she didn't make me feel like they were stupid questions. As the search went on for my perfect home for me, she really knew what I was looking for, if I got distracted by something cosmetic, she reminded me how easy it is to paint, to make things my own. When you look at a home, it's also more; it's the area, the location of schools,shopping, highways. It took awhile, but she found the right home for me and she worked really hard for me to get it, due to multiple bids. I dont' think I would have gotten it and been so happy with if Barbara Henderson had not come into my life and worked for me like she did. She is the best...I highly recommecnd her. She pretty sweet too.
