About Us

Hardy King is the owner of Kings' Furniture Revival. He has been in business since October 1996. Hardy's interest in furniture began in North Carolina in the early '70s while taking cabinetmaking courses in high school where he designed, built, and finished several pieces of furniture. Later he salvaged an oak, swivel desk chair from the trash, which had been burned but had the potential to be be renewed. Without a shop or equipment to build, this endeavor gave him the opportunity to still work with wood and furniture, and thus began his interest in refinishing. Services include refinishing, repair, restoration, chair caning, lamp repair, vintage furniture, antiques, kerosene lamp conversions.
