Was contacted by a KORDALE thru Mover Dudes to get an Invoice from Thompson and Sons and Less is More showed up to move and damaged my furniture and no one will return my emails! Poor customer service and possibly scamming people!

The negative review I originally wrote does not seem to appear with these. How convenient. Let's just leave it at this. Avoid this very unprofessional company and the lies they tell. They will take your money and RUN and you will never hear from them again!

After spending more time looking over these reviews, I find that my experience is on the negative side with this company. I interviewed several companies and went with Thompson when I was told that they had local movers who could do the work on my relatively simple move. I had some large pieces of furniture that only needed to go about half a mile away. The 3 experienced men arrived nearly on time and proceeded to cover and move my items to the new site. Their work was good, with only one small issue that was able to be resolved when the furniture was put together. The problem started when they gave me the bill. It was about $300 dollars over the estimate, and the move took less than the estimated time. I learned that the men had been sent to me from over 2 hours away!! Hardly local. I had many choices of local movers and I was promised local movers by this company. Why on earth would I have ever paid that kind of money for their travel time? After getting the run around from about 6 people in the company, a supervisor named Errol asked me to put the concerns in writing so they could meet and talk about possible compensation. I did that immediately and after no response I contacted him again. I have yet to hear from him and I am pretty certain I never will. I consider this VERY unprofessional. Even if they were to deny me, they should have notified me. I have no plans to move again, but if any of my neighbors ask, I will certainly advise them to avoid this group. Live and learn, but I hate being duped and lied to by anyone.

This company is a train wreck - unprofessional - Very late to arrive, unexperienced, and will no longer respond to attempted communications. I have already filed complaints with the BBB and was finally told to "Call my attorney" after a 18 hour move and me missing work (it should have taken 3 hours tops

This is the worst company I have dealt with. Used profanity with clients, dismisses concerns and refuses to transfer to appropriate personnel.   I had to cancel my move within 8 hours of booking and it's been over a month now and they have not refunded my deposit.  No answers as to why or how thisbcan happen.   No on answers the phone or returns calls.   Today I called to follow up and an extremely unprofessional and out of line employee hung up on me 3 times and told me he was going to keep hanging up on me because I was asking to speak to someone else regarding my non refunded deposit.   I have NEVER EVER experienced such an obscene and rude person.   

My Buyer who is a disabled Veteran hired them to move their storage unit. They sent over their licence but had a second name, The buyer called to make sure they would be there. They were told yes and that they could pay buy money order or cash. The buyer decided they wanted a receipt so they did a money order made payable to the company. The day before the driver called and said they would be there at 3. The buyer scheduled them at 11-12. He called the customer service and they argued with him about the time. This was booked almost a week before. From there he gets another phone call and the driver is demanding that they pay cash. He said no I was told I could do a money order. Then the driver demanded that they write the money order out directly to him. (a little fishy) He again called the customer service line and they said no a money order was fine. ( it was a bank of america money order) Seems like the driver was trying to keep the money. Then the next day they never showed up. Left this disabled Military Vet and his family with know one to move them. This is not how we treat our vets!! It is disgusting that you would treat them this way. How dare you! O and the review that is saying its the customers fault the name is Harry Sphincter... Seriously this was probably someone at the company. I work in Real Estate and I sell all over the Orlando area. I also work in a top producing office with some big agents. I will make sure every agent I know will never use this company. I also know some top producers in Tampa and I will be sure to spread the word there. You will be losing out on a lot of business, I will make it my mission. I can not believe that you have done this to such a great family. This man defended our country so you could have such a crappy company. Trying to rip people off and then leave them hanging and never show up. You should be ashamed of yourself! I will there was an option for no stars. I hope you sleep well at night knowing that you have treated a disabled vet this way. Disgusting!!!

5 stars for Thompson and sons!!! Have hired this company 4 times for family and friends and each move went without a problem. I love the VIP service from Zavier and his staff. Moving is stressful and this team gets that!  Returns calls and requests immediately. Very professional with a touch of "family" ! Will recommend to all... even follow up call to make sure all went well!  Book this company for your move. You won't be sorry and you will save a lot of money and headaches!!!  Happy costumer. Absolutely the worse company I have ever TRIED to business with. This is a SCAM, they do not respond to calls, showed up 7 HOURS late without any customer service and then said it would be DOUBLE TIME DOUBLE MONEY. The drivers that showed up said "this is not a professional company and I do not even work for them, I work for a real moving company. I am just the other driver's cousin. I have been told several times by several staff members that I should expect the deposit refunded- has not happened after two weeks. Every time I call, the manager is out, has an emergency etc... but NEVER once has ANYONE returned my call. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY- they are FRAUDULENT 

Price kept going up; no need to read the fine print expect your price to increase and they move slow so don't be in a rush and expect to pay more than the quote so if I compare them to other quotes they were cheaper. I'm just glad I was moved but over the phone they lied to me so I'm warning you guys get some extra cash and expect it. I even had to pay for tape to wrap the stuff and didn't know. 

I previously made a negative unfair comment about the employees. I was frustrated. I Had some issues but Zavier was very attentive and did great customer service recovery. 

While the two men who actually moved my son and I where great, nothing was covered or wrapped!! I was originally booked for Thursday, their truck broke down so I was moved to Friday at two, then I got a call that they got a flat and was moved to five!! What was worse was they didn't even show up until NINE at night!!!! I have a four year old!! No consideration was given by management AT ALL!! When I told him I wanted a discount he said no!! My time is just as valuable as theirs and then the unprofessional manager didn't like the fact I told him the truth that I was at their disposal! The truth hurt but you should have adequate back up for mechanical failures and proper regular maintenance on your service vehicle to ensure proper safety for everyone involved, THIS INCLUDES THE EMPLOYEES AS WELL!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM EVER!!!!! Poor planing on your part does not justify an inconvenience on mine!!

I was told that I would only lose my security deposit if the move was cancelled, when in fact they stole the whole moving fee without discussion. Within 1 week the same credit card was hacked!! Coincidence I think not. Not a trustworthy business! Stick with a reputable company!!

The estimate included: *Full service move door to door *White Gloves service *Loading and Unloading *blanket wrapping and quilt pads *Free use of wardrobes boxes *Disassemble and reassemble of your furniture
The scheduled moving date was June 28th at 2pm and movers never arrived, then after negotiating the elevator reservation with my building I was offered another elevator reservation for June 30th at 2:30pm and the moving was rescheduled with  company for 2:30pm,  employees arrived at 7pm after the elevator cut off time. I asked the movers why they were not using blankets or quilts to protect my furniture as offered in your quote for white glove service, they replied they were not given any blankets or quilts with the truck and had no tools with them.
Due to their late arrival I helped them but they finished loading the truck at 9pm and couldn’t make it on time to unload it at my new location (cut off time 5pm). I received a call from the company to let me know that my furniture will be delivered the next day at 9am and was suggested to buy an air mattress for the night and send the receipt to the company!!!
The next day a different crew arrived to unload the truck, which had a mechanical problem and couldn’t park in front of my building. The rain started and they dragged all my furniture on the floor damaging several pieces for which I have filled a claim, which has not be resolved as of today. The supervisor asked me to pay for the balance in cash for an amount of $375 plus $60 in tips and when I asked for the receipt he said the company only uses electronic receipts and I should receive it very shortly, I never received it. The next day my bank alerted me that 2 charges of $170 and $236.19 had been applied to my account on top of the $50 deposit and the cash payment. During my call to the company Saturday July 2nd to complain about this issue, I was told they will investigate the situation with the supervisor and these charges would be reversed to my account, as of today no credit has been applied to my account and damages to my furniture not compensated.

The pick up was on time. Delivery however they showed up earlier than I had requested , the move in  didn't happen because of a missunderstanding in the arrangements.. what really made me disappointed was that Thompson Moving Co showed up really late the day I rescheduled the delivery. From a window of 0800 to 1000 the delivery actually happened at 1600 hrs. So not only did Thompson Moving Co not deliver on time but I was charged as if they had fulfilled the delivery reservation. An apology was offered. To wrap things up they missplaced the bolts and the screws of my bed and still charged as if everything had been delivered but again an apology was offered. Disatisfied .! No real interest in customer satisfaction .. the bill came quick just as the apology
